Our 45-minute functional training classes are full-body workouts. They consist of heart rate-boosting cardio exercises (to get your body into its fat-burning zone).
Alongside strength training to increase your metabolism, BMR, and to help you tone (or as we like to say build muscle).
These classes are designed to give you quality results. We ensure every single one of you is looked after and cared for.
Trainers will happily adjust the exercises if you have existing injuries or any concerns. All we care about is making exercise functional and possible for EVERYONE!
Boxing for fitness is an incredible endorphin hit! You forget you are even doing cardio! Pumping music,
hitting those pads, and igniting the inner warrior , this is definitely a studio favourite.
You are put in partners, one of you boxes and one of you holds the pads (You will be
taught how to do this if you haven’t done it before). You will do a combo or a track and
then you will swap over. We also add in things like press ups, squats, lunges, and **maybe**
the odd burpee so this is a complete total-body workout!
The saying ‘have fun when you work out and it won’t feel like work’ rings very true when it comes to boxing.
STRETCH AND FLOW
Our stretch and flow classes are an amazing blend of hard work and relaxation. This unique class includes stretch, yoga poses and the beautiful flow of meditation. It’s the perfect way to get through a mid-week slump.
This class has been designed by professional master trainer and coach Lisa Low. With 30 years’ experience in the industry; she has created such a fantastic way to de-stress, stretch your body and do something special for YOURSELF!
Pilates is a great little addition to your strength and fitness sessions, we target all those muscles that can sometimes miss out on some love in the other classes with challenging and addictive workouts that are by no means a walk in the park or the ‘easy option! You will definitely feel the burn!
We believe that mixing up your workouts during the week is a great plan, and adding these pilates sessions in there to really help create nice strong bodies, and help balance our cortisol and stress levels not to mention targeting all those small areas we all crave working in a session.
